The European Works Council of Deutsche Bahn AG has achieved its aim of setting social minimum standards for employees affected by the Europe-wide relocation of accounting jobs.
The European Works Council (EWC) of Deutsche Bahn AG has long called on Central Management to agree minimum standards for assisting accounting employees affected by the European-wide transfer of accounting to a shared service centre.
At its meeting in Vienna on 4 September 2014, the EWC once again stressed its demand that minimum social standards finally have to be agreed with Central Management for the accounting employees who will be affected by the Europe-wide relocation process.
The European Works Council has successfully negotiated with Central Management to ensure that minimum social standards are agreed for bookkeeping employees affected by Europe-wide relocation.
